Backstory
My name is Amélie Belle Emrys.
Born to Rosalie and Theodore Emrys, it's no surprise I was placed in Slytherin. While my mother attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in France, my father honoured the family legacy at Hogwarts. Every generation of Emrys has been in Slytherin, dating as far back as Merlin himself.
I was raised on the Emrys Estate in Shropshire with a plethora of knowledge at my disposal including books, potions, and more. And, unbeknownst to my parents, I spent many nights slipping away to sharpen my broomstick abilities.
Though I love the thrill of Quidditch, my parents both hold rather respectable positions in the Ministry, and I am expected to do the same. Perhaps the Department of Mysteries, like my father, or possibly Magical Law Enforcement alongside my mother. I treasure all my classes, but D.A.D.A. and Potions fascinate me the most.
Undeniably, the wand chooses the wizard. Mine has coridal black walnut wood with dragon heartstring core, is 12", and its flexibility is rigid. My patronus is a swan, which I'd consider a very suitable fit. I have a precious tawny owl named Pippin, my most reliable messenger. My absolute favorite time of year is Christmas, when Hogwarts reaks of cinnamon and log fires, and pure snow blankets the grounds. It's also when the Parkinsons host their annual Holiday Party, in all its elegance.
