Lexie Malfoy

Backstory

I was born to a muggle family, and I grew up with them until I was 8. I had a rather large family, with 7 siblings, 2 parents. However, when I was 5, my father died of cancer. From then on it was just me, my mum and my 7 siblings. When I was 8, my mother was driving me and my sister Riley to a football camp. We were waiting to be picked up at the end, when our brother drove by, and broke some tragic news to us. Our mother had died in a car crash on the way back from dropping us off. We all went to an orphanage together, feeling rather mellowed. 

At the orphanage we were allowed to stick together, keep each other company and most importantly try to figure out what we were going to do. We all vowed to stay with each other until my eldest brother left the orphanage. He was then going to adopt us all. It was an idyllic dream formed by scarred children. 

I was the youngest of us all, but none of us were very wise about the orphanage system. The first time a couple came round, looking to adopt us, we were all jolted back to reality. Our relationships were no longer in our control. We could be split us at any moment. In fact, we knew we were. No one was going to adopt 8 kids, especially when the eldest was 16 years old!

We were right. I was adopted first, pulled away from my siblings, crying and screaming. I didn't want to leave them. I couldn't leave them. But, I had to leave them. I was brought to an austere looking building. A mansion I realised as we got closer. I then realised that I hadn't actually looked at my new family. I turned to look at them, as the son began speaking to me.

When I faced him, I realised that he was Draco Malfoy. 

My story does have a happy ending. 

On my 9th birthday, the Malfoys took me back to the orphanage. I was so confused. Were they giving me back? When we stopped, all of my siblings were smiling and grinning from ear to ear. The Malfoys had adopted all of them too! It was wonderful. All of my siblings, except the eldest, had all been accepted into Hogwarts. 

A few years down the line, and I get my Hogwarts letter as well. I was in a very happy place. The Malfoys, contrary to common belief, are a great family who care for me, and my siblings, greatly.
