Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter on my 11th birthday, I didn’t know what it meant. At first I thought it was just a joke. My older brother sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. How was I supposed to know regular pencils and pens couldn’t write in all the colors of the rainbow? Anyway, my parents weren't going to go shopping in London. We live in the US. And man, the look on their face when we stopped in London instead of Walmart, and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up Quiditch gear. I just love flying! I'll finish with “Quiditch through the ages"  before school starts. I'm a very good reader and read some pretty big books, muggle books until recently, of course.
