Hello, my name is Lola. I joined HiH so I can make friends who share one common intrest: Harry Potter! I am so excited to immerse myself in everything Potter and learn even more then I already know about the franchise. Wingurdium Leviosa!

When my Hogwarts Letter dropped in from the open window, all I could do was gasp with relief. Being a half blood, I was unsure of whether I would even get a letter. I carefully tore off the wax seal and took out the parchment. There it was, in glistening black ink, my acceptence letter. That very same day we rushed to Diagon Alley to get all of my supplies. It was my first real look at the wizarding world, and it was one of the best days of my life.

 I nervously stood up and slowly walked up to the sorting hat. When I finally arrived at the stool it was plopped on my head. There was no noise for several seconds, untill the hat called out, "RAVENCLAW!" My heart leaped with joy. Ravenclaw was the house of my mother. That moment was just the beginning of my time at Hogwarts.
