Backstory: The House of Crow is a notorioues pure blood family of the ranks of Malfoy, Lestrange and Rosier. The current patriachs of the family, Orion and Ursa Crow served Voldermort in the first wizarding war along side Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange and other notorious death eaters. Orion Crow excelled in the area of alchemy and magical science, with a particular intreset in the source of magic in muggle borns, determined to prove it to be inferior to the magic of purebloods. In an attempt to impress the Dark Lord with his dedication to the belif that pureblood magic was superior, he kidnapped a infant muggleborn witch and experminted on her. This was all in a attempt to prove that even if a muggleborn was handed powerful magic on a platter they would be to weak to contain it and die. Though much to Orion's alarm this young witch survived and in the process gained extreme magical powers. This child was Elizabeth. To prevent any embrassment to the family Orion and Ursa, kept Elizabeth, saying that she their child, will behind closed doors they used her as a servant and manipulated her power for their own gains - quietly using Elizabeth to dispose of their unwanted enemies.

When the time came for her to leave for Hogwarts Ursa is relunct to let Elizabeth go scared that the world might realise what had been going on inside the Crow Manor all those years, but Orion insists that they must send her to Hogwarts to aviod attracting any more attention than they already do. Orion and Ursa make Elizabeth swear that she won't reveal her secret to anyone or else........ Elizabeth knows she must comply if she wants any place to call home by the summer. So with a trunk in hand and all her books Elizabeth sets of on her Hogwarts adventure.
