Backstory

Junelise Acadia Barkridge was born as a half-blood to no-maj/muggle born Finnigan Barkridge and pure blood Audrey Barkridge. She is the second child of Finnigan and Audrey, the first being Calliope Barkridge who was three years older.

Finnigan Xavier Barkridge was born and raised in Merrenova, Connecticut. He grew up as a no-maj born until he was made aware of the magical world and began attending Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a Wampus until he graduated in 1993. Finnigan worked as an auror for MACUSA until he met and fell in love with Audrey Cromwell while abroad. He moved to the UK with her and continued his work as an auror with the Ministry of Magic.

Audrey Kimina Cromwell was born and raised in a magic village called Aegrith in England with her pure blood family. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a Ravenclaw until her graduation in 1995. Her mother owned Kimina & Co. Bookshop in Diagon Ally that Audrey inherited upon her death. The shop sold fictional stories from both the wizarding and muggle world. She met and fell in love with Finnigan Barkridge and they were married in 2002.

Calliope Morgana Barkridge was born and raised in the muggle town of Rysford, England, with her parents and little sister. Since a young age, Cal was very athletic and sporty. Those flames were fed when she started attending Hogwarts and started playing on the Slytherin Quidditch Team as their seeker, winning numerous games.

June and Cal were raised in Rysford so that they could have a grasp on the non magical world. They were fully aware of the magical world, magic being used within the household, but they had to have muggle education God forbid anything happened in the magic world where they had to be forced into the muggle world.

June had been described as a creative and kind person. She is overprotective of her friends and family and can hold extremely long and hard grudges against anyone who hurts them. Being an introvert, it takes a lot for her to leave her dorm or the library for anything, but she will not pass up on a chance to watch a quidditch game where hufflepuff or her sister are involved.

From a young age, June was interested in writing all kinds of tales ranging from high and low fantasy to futuristic sci-fy and catastrophic dystopian. It was clear that she was very talented in that, and she hopes to make it a career after graduating from Hogwarts on the side of running Kimina & Co Bookshop while Cal is off playing for whatever team it is she finds herself on.

Speaking of, she has just begun attending Hogwarts. She was sorted into Hufflepuff house upon her arrival and quickly befriended fellow 1st years Euressa Youngblood, Orion Dupree, and Enoch Calarook. With her are her two cats and owl, along with Cal keeping her under her wing. She's fairly quiet and won't talk if she doesn't have to, but once she considers you a friend she will never shut up and will trust you with her life.
