Backstory
Akilah Rae was born into the Malfoy family. When she was a baby, she and her twin brother Draco were sleeping but some mysterious person with a cloak came. He casted a spell on Akilah and left. This became a curse which is called the Middle Cross Phoenix Curse, this curse turns the person into a Phoenix when they are 16 years old but there is a way to cure it, it takes years to perfect the potion. You must also drink a certain potion on your birthday each year to help the process. You then drink the special potion at 12 midnight when it's your 16th birthday but it has to be exactly 12, if you’re one minute off, then the potion won’t work.. As Akilah grew, she became more weak because of the curse. Her family saw her as a lower person because of this, they always relied on Draco and didn’t bother calling her. The only person who saw her worth something was Draco and her friends, Cedric and Moonlight. This is the reason she acts so cold towards everyone. Another thing about this curse is that she is afraid to love because she doesn’t want to break this person's heart in case she doesn’t create the potion on time so she stays away from most people.
