Backstory

I come from a very long line of purebloods so when I didn't get my letter at 11 like everyone else we thought that I was somehow a squib. However I have always shown signs of magic so my aunt decided to teach me the basics anyway. That was definitely one of her better ideas because this year I got a letter from Hogwarts saying that I should have gotten a letter when I was 11 but somehow they missed me. This was a huge deal because it hasn't happened in about a century. Anyway, I will turn 14 mid-September and it would have been my 3rd year but due to the circumstances this will technically be my 1st. I have already been sorted, that way I can just kind of fold in, and I am a Slytherin.
