Alfred is the eldest son of Morfin Gaunt and Linda Lestrange. when Lord Voldemort Attacked Hogwarts, Alfred ignored his invitation and didn't involve in choosing sides. when Voldemort fell, Alfred was Arrested for crimes he didn't commit and since then is being imprisoned in Azkaban
