Backstory

It would be my first year at Hogwarts but I will be joining the fourth years. I am friends with one of the current students so they offered to take me shopping for the supplies I need. We couldn't walk there because it was so far away so we took the fireplace to Diagon Alley. My friend landed as smooth as can be but I fell flat on my face. After we had gotten what we needed we went to one of the motels nearby. Then in the morning we got to platform 9 3/4 and took the train to Hogwarts. When it was my time to be sorted into a house the hat stalled for a minute or two. Then he made the decision of Slytherin. The table cheered as I walked over and sat down. I didn't know anyone from Slytherin but they were very open and welcoming, which helped. ( I am a pure blood )
