Backstory

Growing up a member of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black was tough. I was always pushed to be the best, and failure was not an option. Hogwarts is my escape from the pressures of my family, and though I may be a Slytherin, I definitely take my time to enjoy this freedom and have fun, while still completing my studies to the expected levels. I am a pureblood, with all of my grandparents being magical, though my family like to ignore the fact that my maternal grandmother was a muggleborn. I'm an orphan, as both of my parents were killed by death eaters when I was a baby; my mother for not being 'pure' enough, and my father for 'sullying' himself by marrying her. I don't let that stop me though. When I grow up, I would like to be an Unspeakable, and I believe that I have the brains and talent to achieve this. My favourite classes are Ancient Runes, DADA and Astronomy, though my love of the last one is probably due to my name. When I'm not in classes, you can probably find me hanging out with my friends in the common room or trying to create new spells (mostly unsuccessfully, but I'll get there!)
