Backstory

(FAIR WARNING I DID WRITE ONE OF THOSE WEIRD FIRST PERSON THINGYS DON'T JUDGE IT WAS FUN)

My Hogwarts letter was delivered on that faithful day
and almost ripped to shreds by my fat cat Lei and my owls Raven and Azure. My sister Prim proceeded to hide it in mums laundry basket because she was spiteful that she hadn't gotten her letter yet. The man at the Leaky Cauldren was surprised when I told him I was heading for Slytherin as I come from a family of witches and wizards who have all been going to either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff since Hogwarts was established! I'm kinda psychic, so I knew I'd be different from my family and I show some Slytherin qualities so it was an easy guess. I'm the first Slytherin in my line so there's a lot of pressure to be a good one, but I don't mind because green is my third favourite colour and Slazar Slytherin is my idol. I love the idea of taming dark magic and learning astrology and what have you. That reminds me, I have to finish Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling before school starts so I can understand it better because that book is CONFUSING. I've been to Diagon Alley once before but it's still the best place on earth, aside from Hogwarts of course, I picked up a bunch of potion gear because I promised my dad I'd be a great potionist like him one day, whatever that means. I really just want to battle the forces of evil and become the greatest witch there ever was! Kind of like He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named but with 100 percent less evil. I don't really understand why my sister hasn't received her letter yet because she's older than me. Wait. What if she's.... A MUGGLE, as in not a witch, if so I'll laugh so hard at the next family dinner, although it wouldn't be the first time, it seems to happen to someone in our family every 10 generations. Mum said I can bring one of the animals as my familiar but I couldn't decide between Azure, Raven and Lei, I can't take all of them because Prim will take one when (if) she gets her letter (at this stage I don't think she will but who knows) , but I decided I'll take Azure and Raven because they is better behaved and won't rip all of my belongings to shreds. I had to sneak Azure in my bag because they wouldn't have let her stay. So I'm here now yay. I guess I'm pretty mean sometimes but people take it as sarcasm for some reason. In case you are wondering which I don't think you are, I have waist length black hair, like super black, and I'm sorta tan, my eyes are, like, I don't know how to describe it, something like periwinkle coloured? Who knows really. My shoulders are ALWAYS sunburnt, I don't know why I only really go outside for the occasional Quidditch match and sometimes the odd outdoors astronomy class but that's at night! So yeah that's me.
