Backstory

When I received my acceptance letter to Hogwarts, I was flabbergasted and at the same time nervous of all the possibilities. My parents have no magic ability themselves but apparently my late grandma was also into these things. At first they thought it as a joke and insisted on throwing it away, I too was convinced it was some sick joke of my younger sister so I chucked it out but to my amazement in the morning sat on the doormat was yet another specifically addressed to me! Luckily Mom was on her way to London for some christmas shopping and took me with. I was given some money by her and told to meet back at the station by 4pm, asking around but to my dismay; no one knew of a Diagon Alley where I was to supposingly obtain my schooling equipment. Tired and exhausted, I entered this newly opened restaurant/pub called "The Leaky Cauldron" for a drink of water. The bartender studied my annoyed expression carefully and then ask what had been troubling me so I told him everything since he asked and there was no one else to talk too. He laughed a hearty laugh and said I should have had come earlier. He lead me behind the counter into the back where he did this strange tapping on the wall. Suddenly the walls crumbled open (It was amazing!) "This is Diagon Alley!" said the man. I thanked him generously and ran off, it was a whole road full of strange stores and one by one I conquered them through my list. I even bonded with a cat-familiar named Dumpling and my favourite part was picking my own wand. Something about it was just so magical! I'm already trying some of those easy spells!
