Backstory

Having your early life in the public eye of the muggle world makes it difficult to disappear to a boarding school no one's ever heard of. Truthfully, I didn't even get to choose which one. I'm actually finding myself glad to have gone to Hogwarts instead of Beauxbatons, though. My mother was a bit upset but my father's opinion held higher regard in our home. I was homeschooled until I was eleven, like my older brother. My mother values education, so she always had plenty of tutors ready; from ballet and piano to history and the arts. Perhaps this is why my father insisted on Hogwarts; he let her have her way with my childhood so the school I attend should be his choice.

She and my father were raised quite differently. Mother is more open-minded (tolerant might be the better word) of blood status. She is a pureblood and distant royal from France, and Father as well but his family is from Spain. I've grown up hearing about their wedding and the muggle media it attracted. They were supposedly a 'match made in heaven,' and their wedding was front-page news around the world.

Nonetheless, I've managed to maintain a life in both worlds. It's probably what I'm most proud of. Sometimes, it feels like a fragile balance, and something could go wrong at any moment, shattering my reputation in both places. I feel constant pressure to prove myself in worlds with completely different standards. No need to get dark though, I've got complete control on this. Everything will always be fine. I'm a Tudor, after all. I come from notable families with great renown. I refuse to let them down.

I plan to study Magical Law, or perhaps even Muggle Law. It will most certainly depend on what ends up being the most convenient for my position. I enjoy classical music, but I find guilty pressure in certain muggle songs. Although, I can't find it in me to complain about ballroom dancing and exquisite dresses. My favorite tutor growing up was Monsieur Monet, my speech instructor. He taught me how menacing words can be, and how to use them to my advantage. I still write him letters once in a while. What teacher wouldn't like to know how their favorite pupil is doing?

I have my fair share of muggle friends, mostly children of prominent public figures that I met because of my parents. I like to know a lot of people, but it takes quite a bit for me to consider someone a true friend. I do hope to make a few more of those though, especially in the wizarding community. Like I said, I was raised in an odd ratio of the muggle world and the wizarding realm. Even with this slight disadvantage, I'll be sure to come up on top.
