Anastasia stands at around 4'9" and is still growing. She has brown skin, dark eyes, and wavy ebony hair. She is in good health with fair upper body strength from years of sailing. Anastasia isn't one for makeup outside of some blush and mascara for formal events. On a day to day basis, she rocks the natural look. Her hair falls to about mid-chest, and she loves styling it everyday. Braids are her go-to look, but she's also known to try out buns and various up-dos. Outside of her school uniform and robes, she has a casual outdoorsy style with a flair of feminine. Her middle-class background shows, and her accent is nondescript. She can put on a good show of a Pompey accent for humor, but she normally doesn't sound like she's from anywhere in particular.

Anastasia comes off as a confident, natural leader. She knows her place in the world and finds strength in that fact. While she may doubt her skills and brush aside compliments, she rarely doubts herself. She knows what she wants to be, and she can go to any lengths to achieve it.
By nature, she's an inquisitive yet cautious girl. Her interests change with the seasons, but she is able to apply prior knowledge to new fields. Thanks to support from her family and friends, she learned to cherish and nurture her curiosity and can present herself as the model student. Behind closed doors, she'll soak up information like a sponge even at the neglect of her schoolwork. Anastasia's an introvert and finds that the best adventure ends in the safety of her own bed with a familiar book.
She has a quiet disregard for rules when they conflict with her own interests and isn't one to be told 'no'. She holds great command over herself and reveals her cards as she wishes. Few things really unsettle her. However, she's the benevolent dictator and lacks a ruthless edge to take whatever risks necessary. On the whole, she seems harmless. Just a confident and smart student. She has her strengths and weaknesses in all things, though her spirit won't let her give up without a fight.

Anastasia was born in Portsmouth to a pure-blood wizarding family, which had British as well as Austrian origins. Her family is related to the late psychotherapist-wizard Alfred Adler as well as the former Minister of Magic Artemisia Lufkin. She has two loving parents, a couple of cats, and a good group of friends from school. From an early age, Anastasia proved to be an inquisitive child with a great love for the world around her. Her favourite word was 'why', and her parents fed that insatiable curiosity. She read constantly and could spend hours on the Internet researching whatever obscure subject caught her interest at the time. At school, Anastasia kept close to her friends and rarely saw any reason to expand that tight-knit group.
While her father is a renowned healer at St. Mungo's, her mother is a distinguished member of the Wizengamot. Anastasia wants to follow in her mother's footstep, become a lawyer and eventually a member of the Wizengamot. She has an elder brother - Aristaeus who is much older than her and graduated from Hogwarts two years back. He now works as a Curse-Breaker in Egypt.
Her first talent for magic showed up when she was five. She had been out sailing with her parents and lost her favourite flip flop in the ocean. Despite her parents' best efforts (they couldn't use magic because they were surrounded by muggles), there was no calming the girl. During Anastasia's tantrum, the water around the boat bubbled, and before long, her missing flip flop came hurtling out of the water and landed inside the sailboat. As soon as Anastasia realised that her shoe was returned to her, her tantrum stopped along with the bubbling water. The rest of the day was uneventful, but the muggle family that was also sailing near them couldn't register what they hadn't seen for quite a long time. The memory faded in Anastasia's mind, but she continued to show magical abilities ever since. Sometimes, it was small things like changing the colors of her crayons and markers. Anastasia's friends just understood their friend as having strange talents, and they accepted her for who she was. Some of her classmates were less accepting, and she experienced some bullying when she couldn't reproduce her tricks. That only drove Anastasia deeper into the companionship of her friend group as well as her reluctance to bring in new friends to the fold.
The day her Hogwarts letter arrived, Anastasia had busied herself with observing a colony of ants in the backyard. The letter, which had (as usual) arrived by owl-post, did not surprise anybody. She hopes to do well academically and make her parents proud..</details>
