Tyler Potter

Backstory

(Tyler Potter: Fifth year) I've sort of always known that the wizarding world was real. I mean what are the odds that one single person could come up with the whole universe on their own, let alone the whole story of Harry Potter? (He's my biological brother, I was given to a different family than him, I was brought to the Smiths). I just assumed that the founders picked up some random muggle and messed with her mind to avoid the exposure of their world, I guess I was right. I will always remember when I got my letter. I was sitting with my adopted family and their daughter, my best friend, Bella Smith, watching Disney's The Lion King (it's mine and Bella's favorite movie) when two letters shot through our chimney. They were Hogwarts letters for my and my friend. Bella and I weren't surprised that I got a letter because I often talk to my pet snake Salazar (yes I named him after the founder of Slytherin) but we were quite shocked that Bella got one, because she has never been able to do anything "witch like". We have tried to discover if she had special abilities but no luck. We immediately showed my parents our letters and they were quite skeptical but we eventually convinced them to take us to London on "vacation". We flew out the next week. We found The Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley and got all the things we needed to attend Hogwarts, including a single owl because me and Bella assumed that we would be roommates, we were very wrong. During sorting, I ended up in Slytherin (we knew I would, knowing me) and Bella ended up in Hufflepuff (of course). We couldn't be more opposite. I don't know what we were thinking. My parents bought Bella her own owl as a gift the day after we got our houses. In third year, I became the Captain of the Slytherin quidditch team, and Bella grew to be the head student in Potions. I don't get to see Bella as often because we are in different houses, but she is still my best friend.
