Backstory

I came from a family of Muggles and was surprised to learn I was a wizard. I was born in the United States and moved to Britain with my family just last year. At first i thought it was my brother pranking me, because he always makes fun of my love of the Harry Potter series. It was when Hagrid the Hogwarts caretaker came to my home to confirm that i was the first wizard in my family and that I was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It took awhile for him to fully convince my family and I that what we had read in the famous book series was true. He took me under his wing and showed me to Diagon Alley to get all the materials i needed for my first year of school. Now i'm ready to see what comes as i learn of my powers. :)
