Backstory
It wasn't until I was twenty years old that I received my letter. I'd always known I was different, and it seemed everyone around me did too. In the midst of pursuing an American Nomaj education studying the movement of the body and how to correct it, an owl came knocking at my window. It was sort of a relief to open that letter - I finally understood why I had always felt like I was on the other side of the glass. And so, I'm a twenty-year-old first year, finally pursuing her magical education as well as continuing her Nomaj education. I did not learn of the American wizarding school until after my arrival at Hogwarts, and I am currently looking into why I had not been requested to attend there, as America is my home.I'm quite fond of divination, as the gift of seeing is something I've always known I've had. My family was always convinced it was nothing more than episodes of deja vu; although, they wouldn't listen when I tried to explain that it was more than just a feeling. I could remember when I had seen the vision (even years in advance, sometimes), and would know when it was to come true just moments before it's happening.
I'm also a lover of all beasts and creatures, as well as any plant that won't intentionally try to kill me. Now that I've got a wand to harness all this pent up magical energy flowing through me I am quite good at charms and transfigurations. I'm a quick study, and very few topics require asking for assistance in learning.
I've moved into the Ravenclaw Dormitories (all my roommates say my accent is peculiar), and will be returning home for vacations. My Nomaj schooling is virtual, so I can access it just about anywhere in the world (Although the WiFi here at Hogwarts isn't the best).
