Backstory

My first day at Hogwarts, it took the sorting hat nearly seven minutes to decide between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, which was a nightmare, having all those pairs of eyes on me at once, for so long. I'm not anti-social, but I hate having all the attention on me. The hat ended up choosing Gryffindor after asking me which I identified more with. I am a half-blood, my father being the wizard, and my mom is the muggle. My father gave up living in the wizarding world to live with her, and everything was fine and dandy until my Hogwarts letter came. They had a huge fight, which ended in my mother leaving and my father taking me to live in the wizarding world. I have a tawny owl that my father got me before my first year at Hogwarts, and her name is Merlot. I tried quidditch recreationally before going to Hogwarts, and really liked playing Keeper. I tried out for the Gryffindor team, and was accepted as a back-up keeper, as it was only my second year.
