I grew up dancing. It was something I loved to do with my sister, but once she left home to go to Hogwarts, I didn’t have her around to dance with. I made it my goal to show her how my dancing has improved, every time she came for a visit. Dance kept our relationship strong while we were apart. She wrote me letters with dancing tips and told me about school. I would write her back telling her about life at home and what dance I was working on. At the age of 10, I learned about my magical abilities. To this day my older sister, Raeya, still teases me about how we discovered my abilities. I had been flipping through one of Raeya’s schoolbooks when she was home for winter break and accidentally cast a spell on my mother, Padma. Luckily no harm had been done to anyone. The following year I received my letter to go and attend Hogwarts. I followed in my sister’s footsteps and attended Hogwarts where I was sorted into Ravenclaw like my mother and sister before me. Now I only see my family when I come home for breaks and me and my sister spend time dancing together. My sister graduated before I got my letter so I didn’t see her on the school grounds. Now she works in the muggle world making sure nothing too out of the ordinary happens.
