Backstory

Hi! I'm Makayla, a pure-blood Slytherin, I promise I'm nice! most Slytherins are, we just get stereotyped as "mean" or "evil" we just know what we want and won't stop until we get it. My parents told me all about their stories at Hogwarts, it's how they met, and ultimately had me. My father was a Slytherin and is now an Auror. My mother was a Ravenclaw, now she works for the daily prophet. The day I received my acceptance letter to Hogwarts was the best day of my life, I can still remember it like it was yesterday. It was a warm day, a little too warm for my liking, schooling was supposed to start in less than a week and I still hadn't received my letter, I was beginning to think I was a squib. I was sitting at the dinner table with my parents. My mother and father had begun talking about how I still had not received anything, they told me that even if I wasn't a witch they would still love me. But how would I love myself? All my friends had already received theirs, I would miss out on so much. However, shortly after my owl, Carl flew through the window, an envelope in hand, when I caught a glance at the red stamp I knew it was my letter. I was so excited I almost spit out my Turkish delight. My parents congratulated me and the next day we went to diagonally and got my things. My wand (from Olivanders obviously) is 11" with unbinding flexibility, the core was unicorn hair, with beech wood. And now I'm a student at Hogwarts with all my friends!
