Backstory

I am a pureblood and have two older sisters. My oldest sister is a Ravenclaw and I'm disappointed that I wasn't sorted into the same house. But I make friends easily so I won't have much of a problem. My other sister is a Slytherin, and has some of her friends with her there. I was so exhilarated when I got my letter, I practically told the muggles where I was going when we were at Kings Cross! We are a middle class family and have a dog, a cat, and an owl for each of us. My father used to work at the ministry, in the improper use of magic office. My mother is a Hogwarts Professor. Though she would much rather teach in a muggle classroom. She finds muggle children fascinating. I chose to have a cat when we were at Diagon Alley, but all of them were nasty little things. So I chose and owl instead. I chose a beautiful brown and white heart-faced barn owl. I named her Selene, after a character in one of my favorite muggle books. I'm so excited for the next years!
