Backstory

Hi! I'm Lucy, a first year Ravenclaw who is super excited to finally be going to Hogwarts! I've heard all about Hogwarts from my mother, she came here when she was younger - but my father is a muggle so I've been brought up mostly in a muggle school. I was really anxious to find out my house and the sorting hat took about a minute (the scariest minute of my life I might add) to decide between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, eventually placing me in the latter. I think I do suit this house quite well, I'm pretty witty and creative and I can hardly wait to start learning all about this fascinating world after having to hide my acknowledgement of it for so long! I'm really looking forward to all my lessons, especially Charms and Care of Magical Creatures, as Hogwarts seems like such a brilliant place and I'm considering coming back here to teach after my studies - I guess I'll have to wait and see where life leads me though, I'm only 11 after all! I have an older sister who is a fourth year here in Ravenclaw house like me so I'm also looking forward to spending more time with her, as well as my new pet barn owl, Zazzalil, named after Zazzalil from Firebringer because she's really cute and friendly but also quite stubborn. I can't wait to meet lots of new friends, study magic and be the best witch I can possibly be in my magical time here at Hogwarts!
