Backstory

(first year) I was sitting by the fireplace, sipping my camomile tea, and reading up on muggle herbology (also known as botany) when my Hogwarts acceptance letter came blasting through the chimney. After waving away the puff of smoke, I read the letter and grinned in surprise and delight. I asked my muggle parents for permission to join, and they swiftly declined my queries. They tore up the letters as they came until the point where they kept the fireplace constantly burning. Eventually, they gave in (approximately five thousand letters later) and here I am!
