Backstory

I was adopted into a muggle family in northern Alaska who had never even heard of wizards. As there only child, a lot was expected of me. I always lived up to the high standards as best as I could, getting good grades and doing any extra curriculars I could get my hands on. Then, I started to show signs of magic. My adoptive parents thought they were delirious or I was making up stories. We tried to ignore it and did so successfully for most of my elementary life. Then I blew up my grandmas cat. On accident. That changed everything. They quickly decided that having a child with such awful issues was simply inconceivable and offered me to an orphanage that stated to deal with special children. Thank god. The orphanage told me about the wizarding world and how I came from this orphanage from two wizard parents who left me after not having the resources to raise me. The orphanage helped me work small jobs to make enough money to buy my school supplies once I received my letter. Now, I'm off to Hogwarts! I can't wait to finally experience the wizarding world up close and see what this magical family is like!
