Backstory

I was sorted into Ravenclaw three years ago and am now a fourth year at Hogwarts. I wouldn't say the Sorting Hat struggled to place me but it did ask me where I would want to be. Sometimes I think I could have been a Slytherin, and I'm glad I wasn't. I really have been enjoying my Transfiguration classes, and my Herbology classes. I also seem to be good a charms but the stuff we learn can be a bit boring. I can say one thing I don't enjoy History of Magic. I've never liked History classes even when I went to muggle schools, just never could keep up. As you may have caught I am a muggle born and the letter was quite the shock. As far as blood status I wouldn't say its that much of a problem, at least in my house. Most Ravenclaws don't care and the Hufflepuffs are always nice. The only people who are really interested in my blood have to be the Slytherins and a few Gryffindors. It doesn't bother me, its not like they getter better marks than me anyways. I wasn't around when He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named came into power but I have heard about him from other witches and wizards. My friend once told me their father had been a kid in the Battle of Hogwarts, but had been to young to fight. I'm not great at anything special, I get my work done on time and I'm smart but its not like I'm top of my classes. I'm not bad at anything other than History so I keep up. The one thing I really suck at but enjoy a lot has to be Quidditch.
I don't keep up with teams or anything I just enjoy riding a broom. As for work after school I have no Idea. I've thought about owning a shop in Hogsmeade and sell books and small trinkets but I'm not sure how I would get there. When I got my letter I didn't believe it, in fact that had to send a wizard over to help me get my books because I just didn't think it was true. I've always found magic to be an amazing thing and I love learning about all the little day to day things you can do with it. As for what I plan to use my magic for, I don't know. I think once I'm out of school I'll live with my parents for a while and figure things out, talk to them about my plans and get them settled before I leave. What I really want? At this point in my life, freedom. My parents always chain me down when it comes to magic, they almost didn't sign my Hogsmeade letter because they didn't think it would be good for me to socialize with other wizards and witches. I mean what kind of crap is that I live with tons of witches and wizards. When I left I convinced them to let me take my cat Enzo, he's really been enjoying it here and I tend to lose him as he blends in with the shadows. He is a black cat so I guess its kind of a stereotypical witch thing but I still love him. Nothing interesting about my family as they are muggles but I guess I have made a few pretty cool friends here in the last three-four years. One of them happens to have a mother thats very high up in the ministry and knows a few Weasleys. I went over for Christmas one and half the Weasley family was there, that was nice. Mom almost killed me for not coming home for Christmas that year but it was worth it. Well, thats me, June Bailey, not very interesting but I've done a few cool things. I'd saw I'm a pretty fun person as well.
