Backstory

(Younger Student) I am the first witch in my family bloodline, I was born into a muggle family, lived in a muggle city, socialized with muggles only and went to a muggle school until recently. I am not sure when my Hogwarts acceptance letter initially arrived but I personally did not revive it until my 14th birthday when my muggle parents decided it was a good idea to give it to me because i was 'more mature now'. I am 3 years behind everyone else my age but there are quite a few people like that nowadays, due to muggle or even magic blood family's begin afraid or even ashamed of have magic blood in there family. My family is ashamed of me being a witch, even so to the point that it is the reason my parents are separated. my mother and father do not know that i know this, but on the night of my 11th birthday, when i was meant to be asleep, i got up to use the bathroom and i heard my parents arguing and talking about what they were going to do about 'the letter', which i later found out was my Hogwarts letter. The reason my parents eventually gave me the letter on my 14th birthday was because my father couldn't cope with the fact that i was a witch anymore and things were just made worse for when he had to keep it a secret from me and everyone else in the world. From my birthday in may and the day I left for Hogwarts on the 1st of September things were a bit rough in my house, every few weeks my dad would have outbursts anger and hatred towards me and i would have to go stay with my granny who was the only one in my family who was supportive of me being magic. I would count the days I was back at my house before i had to leave again, the longest my dad went without chucking me out was 3 weeks. The 2 weeks before i went to Hogwarts i stayed with my granny, but the night before I left I had to go back home. The morning of the 1st of September my dad got the most angry at me that he ever has, I remember what he said almost word for word, "ONCE YOU LEAVE FOR THAT STUIPD SCHOOL FOR FREAKS, DONT YOU DARE EVER TRY AND COME BACK TO THIS HOUSE, DONT EVER SPEAK TO ANY OF US EVER AGAIN, I AM ASHAMED TO BE YOUR FATHER AND I AM ASHED TO CALLED YOU MY DAUGTHER, AS FAR AS I AM AWARE YOU ARE NO LONGER PART OF THIS FAMILY, DO YOU HEAR ME, DO YOU UNDTERSTAND, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE YOU FREAK". Him saying all that isn't even the part that upset me most, it was the fact that my own mother, who had always told me that she loved me no matter what, didn't say a single word to stop my dad from saying those things to me.
