Backstory

I'm a Hufflepuff, and I was sorted into it for my patience, kindness, and reliability. I was a hatstall, as the hat took it's time to sort me! My favorite classes currently as a 5th year are Transfiguration, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, and Care of Magical Creatures. I don't necessarily not like any particular class, I just like some better than others. I am a pureblood; my mother was a great witch and my dad a powerful wizard who has a reputation at Hogwarts. Being a pureblood and coming from a line of well know parents, I have had a great experience at Hogwarts. Although, My best friend, Saorise, is a muggleborn, and she hasn't had the easiest time socially. Muggleborns are typically picked on at Hogwarts for whatever reason. Despite being a muggleborn, Saoirse is extremely intelligent and is a great witch. My strength and my weakness is my want and need to help others. This trait about me helps me tremendously, but also runs me into some trouble. I'd say another weakness I have is trust issues of authority figures. My childhood was chaotic and uneasy, leading me to have some major trust issues. Another strength of mine is my cleverness. I don't really know what I want to do after school, so I'll get back to you on that! For me, the most fascinating part of magic is the parallels between using magic for good and evil. With magic, tremendous good can be done; but immense evil can also come along with magic. I am on the good end of magic, as I want to use my magic to help others. I have an owl named Monroe; he's a bit of a dud, but nevertheless very loyal and "street-smart." I have three best friends; Saorise, Ronan, and Martie. They keep me sane and are my partners in crime for everything. The four of us are actually quite mischievous and typically get into situations we shouldn't be involved in, but we always end up contributing in some way (which is why we haven't really gotten in trouble yet)!
