Backstory

As a Hufflepuff Muggle-Born, I knew the life in Hogwarts was going to be hard. But with the community that I created for me and people like me, life got easier. I am terrified of flying, which is why anything related to that has always been a struggle for me but in other classes, except DADA, I am pretty good at it. Specially Herbology. When the Chosen One became a student, I was in 2nd grade and got used to using magic as if I was born in the Wizarding World. It was weird to see the person who is supposed to save us all being a 12-year-old kid who has no clue, just like I once was. But I hope he also finds his community the way I did, with treating people with kindness. When I graduate, I want to find a way to combine Muggle technology with magic. Because though magic is already fascinating, I think two cultures can learn from each other. Maybe one day, we can live in harmony. Oh, by the way, my name is Gem, they/them pronouns.
