Backstory

I am a 1st year student at Hogwarts, I was supposed to be attending Ilvermorny since I live in America however I have descendants that attended Hogwarts. This is all new to me and I'm struggling to get situated to the new environment, students, professors and most of all the use of magic. I didn't know that I have witches and wizards in the family since my parents never spoke about them, and since it was a surprise to myself that I am a witch; it was a bigger surprise to my parents and family because they also didn't know. Now, that I'm here attending this school I am determined to find out who my long lost relatives could be. I have a partner in the 'muggle' world as some would say here, and they aren't sure why I have to attend this school all away across the sea. However, I convinced them that it was gonna be alright and that nothing will happen. Maybe there is something different for me here, so I think keeping an open mind wont do me any harm. I also except to make friends, as well as, gain knowledge and adventure during my time in Hogwarts. I will do whatever it takes to get gain what I need for my studies and whatever else comes my way.
