Backstory

Receiving the letter was a complete shock as I'd grown up in the muggle world. It was an even bigger surprise when my father told me he was a wizard. He later told me he stayed for Mother and decided to not use magic - or as little as possible (which was completely unseen by me during my childhood). I was sorted into Slytherin. The sorting hat did not sort me right away: apparently I shared Gryffindor's want for justice and Ravenclaw's cleverness. Although it hesitated, it did not take much time for it to decide on Slytherin. Hogwarts is wonderful; the classes everything I was hoping for. Textbooks are a forte, DADA and History being my favourite, and Potions being the one I wish I were good in. I wish to work at the Ministry and perhaps be an Unspeakable.
