Backstory

When I got my letter I wasn't surprised. My parents have been talking about it for what feels like centuries. But, I was happy to be the first witch in the family as my younger sister is only 5. I am sad that dad won't be here to see me off. He died last year suicide from the traumatic events of the war. I do know that he's proud of me I feel it. I grew it in an upper middle class neighborhood. My mum met my dad in the muggle world. She worked at cafe not far from where we live now. I guess my mum was loyal enough to marry a muggle. Dad was amazing though. He had the most adventurous childhood. He told me all about his years at Hogwarts, all the secrets, where I should find the best places to read, and so much more. My mum's always sweet, she does everything for me, she's everything a child could hope for in a mother. Me on the other hand, I suffer from extreme social anxiety I haven't made any friend at school, so my mum is always the person I go to. I am super excited to start at Hogwarts, I'm hoping I won't feel like an outsider anymore.
